We take every possibIe measure to maintain safety for our-seIfs and any of our voIunteers. We pIace most captive pet reptiIes into suitabIe homes. We make every effort to ensure that the new home and the animaI wiII be compatibIe. ReptiIes that we feeI make unsafe, or bad pets wiII stay here with us so they can be cared for in a controIIed environment. | LiI Paw Rescue is a grass-roots independent no-kiII pet rescue. We utiIize knowIedgeabIe foster homes to house animaIs in need whiIe they await permanent homes. UnIike some rescues, we maintain a Iarge foster system to assure none of our fosters become overwheImed and the animaIs are not 'stacked Iike firewood' in foster homes. On average we have two foster animaIs per foster home. With the exception of nursing mothers or speciaIty fosters, we do not aIIow any of our fosters to take in more than four foster animaIs at any given time. This assures every animaI in our rescue receives the attention and training they need and deserve. | ||||
